I have a great friend!

I come home to find a package and opened inside I saw some food!!!!! I think this might be more exciting than receiving a clothes package.

Inside there are four dishes, one; chocolate, raisins and nut, another; salsa Mexicanos. And the last two have another mixture of nuts and fruits and some flapjacks!!!!! Whoop.

FroYo Ho!!!

This is what started my obsession. Lychee flavoured frozen yogurt. This place “tuttimelon” in Hong Kong, Shatin, sold frozen yogurt by the 100g. You chose your flavour, add toppings (e.g. fruit, jelly etc) and then sauces. *drool*

It did come out quite expensive but it tasted sooooo good and refreshing in the Hong Kong heat.

My new obsession is FroYo aka Frozen Yogurt. Seeing this in TESCO on offer, I had to buy it. Also anything thing with “moo” on it, I’m a sucker for.

Just as tasty as ice cream but less calories and fat! Whoop!!!

Finally, some sweets with no gelatine. I used to eat these when I was younger, I can’t remember if I ate them not knowing they had gelatine in but I stopped. Now M&S brought a veggie version

You can have the location, the presentation and furnishing but if the food isn’t correct, then it’s all in vain…

Tried a new restaurant that I found on the tastecard website, Bangalore Express (http://bangaloreexpress.co.uk/). Every thing looked great, the website, when I got there the venue was great, the drinks was nice, the presentation of the food… But the food wasn’t.

My fish was raw, my friend’s lamb was chewy and my other friend’s bread was stale.. Could it be a coincidence? I duno… I really wanted to like this place, it has potential but if the food ain’t right, what’s the point. And my sticky toffee pudding tasted like it just came out the microwave.

However my indochinese chilli paneer was delish :D

I’m in the posting mood…

I was anti-Lebanese food due to the fact it is just meat… Until I went to this random place… The amount of food I got was EMOTIONAL! (you know me and portions). I was sooo full.

This was out table and there was only three of us. I had some potato chunks, falafel sandwich and halloumi in a pastry. Doesn’t sound like much but it was great and the food tasted great!

Yes, it’s been a while since I’ve written anything. I am so bogged down with work I haven’t had time to eat. A few reviews will be coming soon.. Anyways, I finished 1984 by George Orwell today.. Interesting read. While, looking for a PDF version of Animal Farm I stumbled upon this list (you see below).

In 2003, there was the BBC Big Read. Which was a show summarising the top 100 books ever. I remember it vividly because I (at such a young age then) set out to read all 100 books. Now, nearly 10 years on, I don’t think I’m even half way through.

Anyways, I found a link to someones blog stating that the BBC said the average person has only read 6 of these books (shocking). So I’ve read 26 books out of 100, which is above the average person BUT as I set out to read them all in 2003, is pretty pitiful and I think I read majority of the in my teens *sigh*.

I do think this list needs to be updated, as there has been some amazing books published in the last 10 years! Such as The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and Twilight (lol Joke)

It’s been a while… Sorry guys. This week I’m on a detox. I did plan to post what I eat everyday but now it’s the end of the second day and I haven’t done so.

This is not a great photo (I think I may have to start bringing my SLR around with me) but this pizza was lovely, mozzarella, red onion, butternut squash and pumpkin seeds (which added a texture).

The people that I went didn’t enjoy their pizza so much but I was pretty happy with mine…

Can’t complain with a taste card.

Yesterday, I went to Fire and Stone in Covebt Garden. I quite like the place, the food is pretty decent and the prices are fair.

Extra bonus yesterday was we had a taste card. 50% off everything :D.

Above you can see some garlic and chili mushrooms. They did not have much garlic but they were nice (yes, simply nice) but the cucumber salad that came with it was so flavoursome.

My Old Dutch - Monday Madness So I went to my first pancake house today. My Old Dutch. It was nice! On Mondays, all their pancakes are £5 (which is pretty decent). So had a smoked salmon pancake with mushrooms and a Dillon creamed sauce. And it was goooood! Usually it would have cost £9.50, which is a lot for a pancake, I will go back again but only on a Monday.

Ok, so it’s been a while but I’m always taking pictures to post but then I never get round to posting them. Anyways, I am going to upload all my old pictures.

My commuting buddy went home for the Christmas holidays (Ukraine) and she brought me back this! It was so unexpected but showed how thoughtful she is :)

I do have to say this was the nicest dark chocolate I have ever tasted and I don’t normally like dark chocolate.
